Special Logistics Agent II – Land

This position is responsible for serving as the primary contact for a Customized solution land operation. Tasks & Responsibilities: •Responsible to organize, plan, process, and vet shipments from pick-up to final destination through a multi leg network incl. various value-added-services and short-term changes. •Responsible to meet customer Service-Level-Agreements, as well as safety and compliance guidelines. •Responsible for external and internal carrier and inventory management. •Responsible for shipment planning in cooperation with other products (air, ocean, contract-logistics) and external fulfillment service providers. •Responsible for the creation of various external and internal reports. •Responsible for the tracking of shipments SOP’s, KPI’s and score cards. •Oversight for all activities that impact service/contact obligations. •Maintain working knowledge of a strategic customer business and network. •Ability & willingness to support carrier management team as needed by the business. •Schedules and tasks subject to change upon customer requirements

Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: •Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or like experience. •Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem solving skills •Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. •Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. •Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety We are an equal opportunity employer.
