Job Overview
This role is responsible for inspecting and maintaining yard and facilities, coordinating with shop to move equipment around yard, and works with Orientation on road evaluations and tablet training for new drivers.
What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
* Routinely Inspects and maintains building and installed systems including but not limited to plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, drains, shop, restrooms, grounds and overall appearance and serviceability of the facility.
* Maintain and groom Terminal property, including pick-up and removal of trash and refuse.
* Perform various facility repairs in a fashion that minimizes costs.
* Conduct road test evaluations, Smith System training, and drive company shuttle vans as needed.
* Relocate equipment in and out of the Maintenance facility.
Requirements
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
* This is an intermediate level position.
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Good interpersonal skills, effective use of written and oral communication, and generally prefer 1-3 years of experience.
* CDL License required.
