    9. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION

    Eligibility for Services

    General browsing of our Site or Services is not intended for users under the age of thirteen (13). We do not collect information from children under thirteen (13) and we specifically prohibit children under thirteen (13) from entering any parts of the Site or Services where Personal Information may be collected. 

    Additionally, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older or have the legal authorization of a parent or legal guardian to register for a DB SCHENKER webinar, conference, delegation, or similar event. To submit an employment application to our job postings section, you must also be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

    If you are a parent or legal guardian of a child below thirteen (13) who has submitted Personal Information to the Site or Services without the knowledge of DB SCHENKER, please contact us (see "How to Contact Us" below) so we may delete the information collected. 

    Quebec Private Sector Act: Minor’s Eligibility 

    For residents of the province of Quebec, general browsing of our Site or Services is not intended for users under the age of fourteen (14). We do not collect information from children under fourteen (14) who are residing in Quebec and we specifically prohibit such children from entering any parts of the Site or Services where Personal Information may be collected.

    We will keep your Personal Information while you have an account with us or while we are providing Services to you. We process your Personal Information for the minimum period necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice unless there is a specific legal requirement for us to keep the information for a longer retention period. We determine the appropriate retention period based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of your Personal Information, and after the retention period ends, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Information. When we are unable to do so for technical reasons, we will put adequate safeguards in place to prevent any further such use of your Personal Information.
