Position Description Summary:
Responsible for providing effective customer service and maintaining customer satisfaction. Perform a variety of administrative and general office duties to support coordination and movement of customer's shipments. Provide information to resolve both external and internal customer/shipment related problems.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
• Monitor service performance identifying root cause of failure
• Work internally and externally to improve service by development and implementation of corrective action plan(s)
• Compile reports necessary for measurement of corporate and account performance
• Develop and maintain procedures/processes that improve customer service
• Effective customer communication relative to work assignment

Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):
This is an intermediate level position. Proficient with Windows OS, Word, and MS Office Suite. Intermediate demonstrable proficiency with Excel (basic formulas and charts). Must be able to type 45 WPM. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Generally prefer 1-4 years of related experience.
