Trade Administrator

Trade Administrator – up to 12 months FTC

Location: Basildon (Hybrid- 2/3 days in the office)

Days/Hours : Monday – Friday 9:17:30

Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Administrator to join our team in Basildon! In this role, you will support the UK & Ireland Trade and Pricing teams within Ocean Freight, ensuring accurate administration of FCL, LCL, and Rail pricing. You’ll play a key role in maintaining buy/sell rates, processing spot quotations, and managing long-term pricing and RFQs efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Ensure all Ocean quotes and rates are correctly filed in RCM and accessible in Tango for operational teams.
• Work closely with Customer Service Teams to ensure client rates are up to date and logged promptly.
• Use E-Quote software to manage and maintain accurate quotations, keeping existing client rates current.
• Support the pricing team in responding to overseas inquiries and renewing existing quotes.

About You:

• Previous experience in Ocean Freight within a similar role
• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
• Tenacious and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
