Petra is a Branch Manager in Helsingborg, Sweden. With her incredible team of roughly 70 colleagues, she ensures that customer requirements are fulfilled and that good relationships are maintained and developed. She and her team handle approx. 2.5 million domestic and international parcels, 32,000 international consignments and 270,000 domestic shipments each year.

What makes my work within the Business/Function Unit special?
The variety of everyday business, you never know what is going to happen when you go to work in the morning. All the challenges we face together and that great feeling when we win a new customer or reach a goal that we have been struggling with for a long time. But most of all, after almost 30 years in the business, I am still learning new things!
What are your areas of interest/ hobbies?
My hobbies are all sorts of outdoor activities, my dogs, spending time with my family and traveling all over the world

One of my goals is to make people grow and to support them in their future development. This applies both at work and privately.
What are your strengths?
My “fighting spirit” as well as perseverance, curiosity and creating commitment in my team.
If you could say only one thing to other women who are planning to take on a career in logistics or are already in logistics, what would it be?
Dare to challenge yourself and jump at the opportunities that are offered to you. You may not get a second chance.
